Michael Gilfeather
Michael Gilfeather, President and Founder, opened Home Services Shop in 2001 after he recognized a need for a company to take care of the small jobs around the house. With two decades of experience in banking, he knows the fundamental importance of earning and maintaining a customer’s trust, which is the foundation of the business. Michael is active in his community, having served more than two terms as Village Trustee, including two years as Deputy Mayor. He also coaches youth sports and serves on several advisory boards. Michael and his family have lived in Pleasantville since 1988.

Kurt McKinney
Kurt McKinney joined Home Services Shop as a Sales Manager in 2001 and was promoted to Vice President in 2005. As a Pleasantville resident since 1994, Kurt understands the need to have someone to count on to help maintain the value of a Westchester home. In his role at Home Services Shop, he has visited hundreds of homes and businesses and spoken with owners who do not have the time and/or skills to maintain and/or enhance their properties. He can suggest ways to do so, professionally and efficiently, while staying within your budget.

Walter Giewat
Walter Giewat started out as a technician for Home Services Shop in 2004. In 2007 he was made Operations Manager. He has a great knowledge of carpentry and an extensive background in building, having built contemporary homes and overseen major commercial and residential renovations.

Herbert H. Doerr
Herbert H. Doerr, PT, CAPS (Manager of Stay at Home Services Division) is a licensed physical therapist with 25 years of experience in evaluating, treating, and caring for people with disabilities. He has completed special training to become a National Association of Home Builders Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS). He lives in Pleasantville with his wife and two children.

Stephen M. Kudzy
Stephen Kudzy serves as Sales Manager for the Commercial Division of Home Services Shop. He has over twenty years of business development experience and provides exceptional customer service to his clients. His objective is to offer cost effective solutions for your property’s everyday maintenance, repair and small project requirements. Stephen takes a proactive approach to managing each project or specific job and understands that delivering true value to a Home Services Shop client is the ultimate goal.
